[줄거리]

엄격한 교육 시스템을 자랑하는 메사 고등학교에 말썽꾸러기 아이들이 모인다. 그 이름은 바로 ‘레몬네이드 마우스’ 잦은 전학으로 가는 곳마다 적응을 하지 못하는 스텔라, 철부지 아버지 때문에 마음고생을 하고 있는 웬델 기포드, 아랍권 사상을 가진 아빠 때문에 집에서와 학교에서의 생활이 전혀 다른 모 밴저리, 형과 같이 부모님의 기대를 한 몸에 받는 찰리, 그리고 이야기의 주인공이며 비밀이 많은 아이 올리비아...

그들은 학교 교장의 스포츠 사랑 정신으로 피해를 보는 예술 지망가들. 즉, 공부보다는 마음 속 깊이 음악을 더 사랑하는 아이들이다. 하지만, 교장 눈에 이 아이들은 아무리 봐도 문제아들. 그들은 부당한 처벌로 나머지 공부반에 함께 들어가게 되고 이들을 지켜보던 제시 선생님은 이들을 위해 바로 밴드를 조직하게 되는데...
