[Introduce Singer] 미국 가수/배우 버네사 윌리엄스(Vanessa Williams)
1963년 3월 18일 미국 출생, 1983년 흑인 여성으로는 미국 최초로 미스 아메리카가 되었다가 10개월 후 1984년 7월호에 '펜트하우스'에 실린 누드 사진으로 인해 미스 아메리카 자격을 박탈당했다. 대학에서 뮤지컬을 전공했고 1987년 영화 '환상의 발라드'로 배우로 데뷔를 하고 1988년 데뷔 앨범 The Right Stuff을 발매하고 가수로도 공식데뷔했다. 아놀드 스왈츠제네거 주연의 영화 이레이저(1996)에 출연을 했고, 사무엘 잭슨의 영화 샤프트 (2000년)에 출연을 했다. 지금까지 총 9장의 정규앨범을 발표했고, 다수의 TV, 뮤지컬, 영화에 출연을 했지만 인지도에 비해 대체적으로 큰 성공을 거두지는 못했다.
