[Introduce Singer] 밴드 스콜피온스

스콜피언스(Scorpions) 독일 하드 록 밴드. 초기 프로그레시브 록에 가까운 하드 록을 했으나 1979년 작품 Lovedrive를 기점으로 팝 메탈 성향의 음악 추구. 1964년 루돌프 쉥커, 마이클 쉥커 두 형제 기타리스트 중심으로 결성. 보컬 ‘클라우스 마이네 ‘가 합류한 1969년을 공식 결성 년으로 본다. 1972년 1집 앨범 'Lonesome Crow'으로 데뷔. 이후 마이클 쉥커는 영국밴드 UFO로 이적.

40여 년간 밴드를 유지해왔으나 2010년 1월 24일 공식 웹사이트를 통해 해체 소식을 알렸다. 2010년 3월 19일 마지막 앨범 《Sting in the Tail》을 출시한 뒤 5월부터 마지막 월드투어를 하고 있는 중이다. 2011년 11월11일 현재 포르투갈 리스본에서 공연을 개최했고 2012년,2013년 쯤에 월드투어가 끝날 예정이다. 그리고 그때가 스콜피온스와의 이별의 시간이 될 것이다.
