에바네센스(Evanescence)는 1995년 리틀록에서 가수겸 피아노 연주자인 에이미 리(Amy Lee)와 기타 연주자 벤 무디(Ben Moody)가 결성했다. 2003년 1집이 전세계적으로 1천7백만장이 팔려나가며 큰 성공을 거두었다. 이후 총 3장이 정규 앨범이 발매되었다. 초기 멤버 벤 무디가 2003년에 빠지고, 기타리스트 존 르콤프와 타악기자 록키 그레이가 2007년에 떠나는 등 많은 변화가 있었고 2012년 활동이 중단되었고 에이미 리가 곧 솔로곡을 발매할 예정이다. ▣ 상세 설명 위키백과 => http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evanescence
