에이브릴 라모나 라빈(Avril Ramona Lavigne[1], 1984년 9월 27일 ~ ) 캐나다 출생, 싱어송라이터, 패션 디자이너, 배우. 라빈은 온타리오주 벨빌에서 태어났지만, 어린 시절의 대부분을 나파니에서 보냈다. 라빈은 15살 때, 샤니아 트웨인의 무대에 서보기도 했고 16살 때에는 RCA 레코드와 계약을 체결했다. 그리고 2002년, 라빈이 17살이 되는 해에 데뷔 음반 Let Go를 발매해 본격적인 가수 활동을 시작한다.
라빈의 데뷔 음반 Let Go는 영국에서 1위를 차지했으며, 미국에서 6x 플래티넘 인증을 받았다. 2009년을 기준으로 1집은 미국에서만 6백만 장의 판매고와 세계적으로 천만 장을 넘겼다. 음반의 첫 싱글 "Complicated"는 세계 여러 국가에서 정상을 차지하며 앨범의 성공을 도왔다. 이후 2004년, 두 번째 정규 음반 Under My Skin이 발매되고, 빌보드 200에서 1위와 세계적으로 천만 장이상의 판매고를 올렸다. 2007년에는 라빈의 세 번째 음반 The Best Damn Thing이 발매된다. 이 음반은 영국 음반 차트에서 1위를 차지했고 싱글 "Girlfriend"는 라빈의 빌보드 핫 100 1위 곡이 되었다. 라빈의 네 번째 정규 음반은 Goodbye Lullaby이며 2011년에 발매되었다.
