블론디(Blondie)는 미국의 펑크 록 밴드로 1970년대 후반부터 1980년대 초반까지 크게 인기를얻었다. 초창기 미국 펑크 록과 뉴 웨이브 씬의 개척자로 평가받는다. 뉴 웨이브 밴드로서의 기본적인 스타일들을 유지하면서도 디스코, 팝, 레게 등을 적절히 혼합한 음악 스타일로 호응을 크게 얻었다. 초기 2장의 앨범까지는, 영국과 오스트레일리아에서는 성공을 거두었지만 미국에서는 크게 성공을 못했다. 미국의 언더그라운드 밴드 중 하나로 간주되고 있었지만 1978년 3집 ‘패러럴 라인즈’가 발매된 후 미국에서도 흥행을 하며 70년대 후반과 80년대 초반 세계적인 밴드로 인기를 얻게 된다. *▣ 상세 설명 위키백과 => http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blondie_(band)
