전설의 포크 듀엣 사이먼 앤 가펑클 3집 1번 트랙곡. Scarborough의 Yorkshire 마을에서 불리어진 발라드 곡으로 오랫동안 민중들이 불렀던 탓에 여러 가지 가사들이 전해진다. 1941년 영화 Man Hunt 에 멜리디가 쓰여졌고, 이후 Gordon Heath와 Lee Payant이 1955년 공식적으로 첫 녹음을 했다. 1966년 4월에 Marianne Faithfull이 Scarborough Fair라는 제목으로 발표했고 6개월 후에 사이먼앤가펑클이 다시 발표하게 된다. 1968년 빌보드핫 11위를 기록.
